New sight that is WA Legal?

Curious to see how raindrops affect sight the picture.

I wondered that to cause it rains and snows during the late muzzy hunt often. I saw a you tube video that said it has curved plastic so the water tends to run off it pretty good. I'll give it a go when I get a rain and it's not to dry out and see what I can do with it.

95 might be s little steep but when a guy spends 300-1500 on a rifle scope 95 on a muzzleloader sight don't seem to bad lol. I got mine with bonus ebay bucks so net cost was 85.

I would be curious to hear from someone after they try it. I would be worried if it is effective beyond 100 yds.

One of my thoughts on this as most us smoke pole people know. A front bead at 100 plus on a deer pretty much covers the whole vitals.

With this sight " I got the delta point model" you don't really have to cover anything up but rather set the tip of the triangle on the target. So I am curious to play with this as well. I am not a super long range guy with a smoke pole. 140ish yards is as long as I have ever shot a critter with mine.

You are certainly correct - it really does cover a lot! but if you use a 6:00 hold the problem diminishes a lot.  With the Williams peep and the fiber front sight - this is the sight picture I use with the target sitting on top of the blade.

For sure. I use the 6 hold for shooting most of my handguns. I have really tried it with the long gun but I tend to pull shots high when I do it. I am not a great open sight shooter by any means. I think this sight basically is incurring the 6 hold and giving the tip of the triangle as a reference. So I am hoping that might keep me from pulling shots high.

I shoot a peep for that reason but have never been a fan of the narrow sight picture and they are always so dark to me. So hoping this might help me shrink my groups some.

I will share a couple of thoughts on this - in low light and while using a Williams Peep - I just remove the peep aperture and use the ring of the peep as a 'Ghost Ring' + during hunting season I use a .093 aperture. But they do make a .150 also which allows much more light and picture

They also make a 'Twilight' aperture that has a brass ring in the aperture to reflect more light.

I have had a couple of the twilight models. Someone needs to make one like that with a full fiber optic ring in it! That would be great!!!!

You know what - that gives me and ideal - I might try heating a rod and inserting it in around the cup like the twilight version... I wonder if that might work?

Received the sight today I'm gonna in hand meet up with local warden  and get his  2 cents update after

sweet I got mine and mounted it on my 50 cal pistol. Going to play with it on there before I start taking apart my rifle sights.
