Elk Shed ages???

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but here goes!!
#1 at what age do bulls shed there first rack?
#2 do younger bulls retain there rack longer than older bulls?
#3 what time of year do are Elk loose there sheds?? (Western)Wa.
#4 how long does it take for an Elk to grow there new rack??
