I have a lucky hat and a pair of fingerless gloves that are very dangerous. I hunted my first 4 days without the hat this year. Wore it on day 5 and notched my tag. It's in most of my successful hunting pics.

A good nights sleep.
Friend: "Are you free tonight?"
Me:  (Gazing into the distance as a bald eagle screeches)  "I'm always free"

I use to eat chili at Three Fingered Jacks for dinner Friday night before the opener.
It took my son until he was 15 years old to figure out why.
For years he would be behind me going up the trail in the dark,
Really, really

lol they used to have the best chicken gizards, haven't eaten there in years, maybe they still do.

I like to listen to The Last of the Mohicans sound track on the way to my spots. I don't know, something about it mellows and pumps me up.... Sound mind, lots of energy, it works for me :dunno:

I pick a bunch of apples off my tree. In my younger years, the family farm had several orchards from farms the family had bought up. When I hunted there, that's all I'd eat all day until dinner time.
