Sony Homebrew Camera Timing

This was not a hard test to perform but the results were consistent (kind of). I think this was surprising to me.  Here is the test I performed.  I turned the led on to see when the camera sensed motion so I had dipswitch 4 and 6 on only. Then I set the camera up and waited 15 minutes to make sure there was no residual charge in the flash. Then I timed the time from the LED showing motion detected until the flash flashed.  I noticed that it was on the second motion sensing that the camera actually took a pic. Then I kept moving and timed how many photos I could take in 1 minute with the flash.  I repeated 3 times with each camera. My battery was fully charged before I started.  Here's the results.  Anyone want to try this test and post their results here.

Sony W80  first flash pic was in 8-10 seconds and it took 12-15 photos in 1 minute.

Sony W150 first flash pic was in 9-12 seconds and it took 12-14 photos in 1 minute.

The timing is pretty close.  Is there anything about either camera that would tilt you to prefer one over the other?

For the same price the w150 has more megapixels and is easier to make a case for.  I thought the timing would be alot faster. I am sure it is if it doesn't need to use the flash on the first pic. Just remember the 150 has a bigger lens and needs different lens extension tube

So you use the same Yeti control board with both cameras?

Yes, I use the board setup for the W80 camera.

My current testing shows that with flash the W80 takes a photo about every 4 seconds and the w150 is about every 6 seconds. FYI
