Put it in a chassis.

Not really practical for hunting.

It could be with a folding stock. Still heavy though.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

in that pic it weighed 16#’s. Other than the butstock the chassis isn’t heavy. It weighs 17.2#’s with the new barrel

I didn't say you couldn't hunt with a chassis rifle. I said it wouldn't be practical. I stand by that, but maybe it's how a guy chooses to hunt. I wouldn't ever want to hunt with a 16+ pound rifle. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

yes sir. I love it!!

Thought it was.  I recently had the chance to purchase a, nearly new, XLR Carbon Chassis for SA Rem 700 for $550 but I cheaped out and passed on it.  I think I screwed up and should have jumped all over it.  :bash:
