No reason to think the bottle was left by the same person/people that dropped the head, who knows maybe the lucky hunter was bringing the head to the taxi to have it mounted and it fell out of his truck? or it may be a sloppy hunter from who knows what group that dumped it there. I guess I just don't see a point to post it here and bash our fellow hunters.

if it was me id probably have picked up the beer bottle and kick the head out of sight then go about my day.  (( and hope someone had not left them there to pick up later)) :chuckle:

:yeah: Well said. All joking aside, hopefully he picked up the bottle and chucked the head into the brush. And you couldn't keep me out of there, just go where it isn't crowded and all is good :)
there isn’t such a place! Time to head to handford. Should have that place to myself!

LOL! and lots of nice bulls to hunt! at least until Johnny law shows up!  :chuckle:

All wdfw needs to do to help the issues up there is close and gate half of the roads off and increase the penalty for driving off of a open road ( like confiscating the vehicle) and it would give the elk more escapement and not be so inviting to the drunken road hunters. (Not saying all road hunters are idiots just seems the majority are)

The fact is there are too many roads for a small area and the elk have very little chance of escapement

Predators? Wait, now I'm confused, who drank the beer then. :chuckle:

The elk drank the beer.......... get with the program. Lol
I’m confused now too.
now that makes sense! Thanks for clearing up that subject! Disgusting just disgusting. Give an elk a beer and they cut off there own head and legs. Maybe that guy should stay home and not bother elk hunting over here. They have something wrong with them. :o

I'm siding with the predator here.  He's earned that Silver Bullet after dragging that head off the mountain!

Drew a cow tag there years ago.. first time there and my last. I left after 4 hours of hunting. Saw tons of idiots with guns. If they consider that hunting, they can have it.

Went up coleman this weekend and stopped right as the gravel started to let some air out of the tires.  This picture is taken from the start of the gravel at coleman road - ~20 feet from the paved road.  Looks like some archery jerks decided they needed to stop get out drink a beer before heading down the highway and throw away a elk head and feet.  I found it very disrespectful.

I believe it was Karen Fukuhara.  Though I'm a little surprised her victory beverage of choice is Coors.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I tossed the cow elk head off the side of the road out of sight. Then picked up the beer cans and bottles when I went up for muzzy elk 👍👍👍
