I killed deer back to back years wearing Nikes, finally broke down and bought a new pair of hunting boots and been out of luck since then. Had a complete equipment failure year and two years of operator error. You better see if jackalope has any lucky goat stuff he would loan you.

It's amazing what desire, knowledge, committment, and a hardcore willingness to do what it takes can get you. You guys are bad ass to the max. In my prime I had the desire covered but then trailed off the further down the list I went. Especially the hardcore part. Well done.

there was no story. killed this buck the day before the snow came.  Deer left overnight.  Spent the next 5 days trying to find them.  Then we did.  If I had one or two more days to hunt I would have killed the Giant but I just flat ran out of time.  And know it wasnt 39.  That migration is no secret lol.
