 Thought I'd have a little fun experimenting today. I know alot of trappers say you won't catch as many cats when you have a cam pointed at the cage but that has not been my experience.  Almost every cat I've caught throuout the years was caught on cam going into the trap. Since I'm trapping for fun and not numbers I thought it would be interesting to see if I could get one on video from inside the trap. No big deal if I don't catch him. If I do hopefully he doesn't destroy my cam!

 The cat didn't return last night. Checked the card on the tree but made sure not to walk in front of the trap so not to trigger the one inside. Put out 4 more baits.

 With the drastic weather change coming Sunday I better pull all my water traps before they get frozen in. Forecasted low of 14 and high of 22 here in Whatcom Co. Should boost the cat trapping a bit however.

 Just got back from checking the trap with the cam in it. Every check all week and no action other than the door being down one night. Pulled the sd card just to see if anything came by and I've got some pretty amazing video that I didn't expect. I'll post some as soon as I get them on my YouTube channel.
