I would rather draw a spring bear permit every 2 years than a quality buck permit every 20 years.... who is with me?

We don't have to worry about seeing results until next Wednesday at the earliest.

I don't want to see Timberstalker's results.   :bdid: :yike: :puke:

Deal but kids have to be invited too.

We could start a thread: Emosional swings of spring bear hunting and we haven’t even left the house

Since the Kapowsin access fee went from the $100 to now required to buy the $300 full access I called and made request to change my kapowsin permit request to just a point. Will see if it happens. Don't want the stupid permit now. I guess I should have looked at the tree farm regs prior to applying. I hope it gets changed and allows someone else the opportunity to draw their "dream" tag.  I will just go to Ideeho and buy over the counter if I really need a spring bear fix.

I would rather have over the counter spring bear here than draw a quality deer permit every 2 years.  Quality permits arent worth a damn if we dont get the deers predators in check.

I don’t want to muddy up this thread, but I wouldn’t be for OTC spring bear hunting.
A big part of what I love about the spring bear hunting is that there is minimal pressure.

Were talking about a 75 day season up here.  Pressure would be pretty spread out.  Wouldnt be like rifle deer where the woods fill up with hunters on opening weekend.  And a lot of folks who draw ne spring bear only come hunt for a couple days, if at all.
