RIP Officer. Thank you for trying to get your community safe.

I had a friend of mine who was a Sheriff that got assassinated during a domestic call in Eatonvile a few years ago. I love all LEO's. BE SAFE.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I sit here with tears rolling down my face as I read this.  I'm a Cowlitz County Corrections Officer, and have known this fine Deputy for many yrs.  I will not use his name, for it is not my place.  All you need to know is the fact the he was an amazing young man, with a infectious smile that protected without question.  Our community is devastated, and his family and all that knew of and worked with him need all the prayers that you can spare.

I knew this deputy also. I worked in the fleet shop for many years. He was a very nice person and easy to talk to and deal with. A horrible tragedy for our community and department.

Sorry for the loss of your brother. It’s very sad and I can’t stand reading any of this.

The kid is running a mile for the fallen deputy tonight.  I can’t imagine how proud this kids parents are of him. Not sure if you guys have heard about the kid or not, but it’s pretty impressive.  I see he’s been identified in the media now.
