The point is they are not welcome if they dont meet the 50 post criteria?

My problem is that I do a lot more reading than I do posting.   Mostly becuase I am not very knowledgeable to hunting, or guns... Thats why im here.   Most my posts will be just stupid questions that I am asking.. who wants to read that.

I guess it could become a by "subscription" only site.....?.............What has been proposed seems like a more reasonable way to solve the problem.

Stop your whining and get in here and participate.  :)

(That sounded harsher than I really meant. What I mean is have some fun contributing and your posts will get up there in less than a week I bet.)

No. The point will be (at least one of them) - Guests that view the board will not see a scam opportunity when they do not see the classifieds board.

Wanting to BUY something from the classified section is taking advantage of the members here who really care........ Please explain.

Problem is the board software cant seperate the buyers from the sellers.   So their hands are kind of tied in that regard.

but wont that deter new members?

The only people that would be detered are those that have no interest in contributing in the first place.

Makes sense to me. Guess I need to talk more.
Not that I have any money to spend... just bought my tags!
The more I get to know the less I find that I understand.

At first I thought I didn't have much to contribute either. But it doesn't take much to show interest in what another person is doing or has done. Nothing wrong with admiring anothers great meat grinder, homebrew trailcam, tent stove or whatever. Doesn't have to be a great big write up, keep it honest and sincere and you'll find many like minded people here.

I laughed everytime I read those posts in the classifed... "nice gun, too bad I have no money"   Always seemed pointless... but guess I have been looking at that the wrong way.

Beleive it or not there are a load of people on here that love helping out others. There are no stupid questions if you are seriously looking for answers. As long as you dont have thin skin you should be just fine, you will get ribbed every once in a while though :chuckle:

I forgot to clarify that all site sponsors will be exempt from this change. That's a given and only because they are already in a special group. Some of them do not post often.

I wasn't talking about making a post commenting on peoples stuff like that in the classifieds. jesus christ.

If the only topic you read is the classifieds, you are missing a great deal.

So let's see,  say you (huntnphool)  have a Nikon scope for sale  and someone want's to buy it...... but they only have 30 posts.    Now they can't buy it and you can't sell it, and it's because they have no  interest in contributing in the first place.

LOL, if I post a Nikon scope for sale and knowbody wants it its either a POS or the price is too high.
