Astoria/buoy 10 in Sept

Haven't been down in years..  The chinook season is garbage this year but might make the trip for silvers.  Anyone been down last few years?  Worth a trip in early Sept for silvers?  Last time i was there action was pretty good fishing anchovies off a dropper and some hardware off the motor back wash in the rips..
