Depends on the club, some have a clubhouse and some don't.  The better ones have a guy taking care of it, scouting, making coffee and lunch and setting your decoys out before you arrive.  When you get there, you get your gear from your locker and the guy gives you a briefing about what has been going on with the birds, where you are set up, what to expect and then drives you out there and drops you off at the blind.

When you are done, drinks at the clubhouse, fire in the stove, maybe some golf on the tv and some snacks while your birds are plucked and packed.

The other one is just land, you book your time and get to hunt it.  I have no idea what it costs, but there are a couple of blinds, but pretty much DIY.

The better one was $100k to join and $20k a year dues and had a waitlist.  You also need someone to vouch for you and the other members vote on any new people.

I'm $99k short of the application fee, maybe next year.  Getting someone to vouch for me is also problematic.

You won't find a club without a wait list if it's a decent one.  If they have to advertise on CL or elsewhere your donating to the cause.

Most of the clubs up in Skagit, you have to be friends with someone in the club that vouches for you, family or just lucky to get in.  Spots seldom open and it's difficult to get in.  This is my experience unless the guy that runs it, is a complete tool.  Then you can see frequent turnover.

It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
