Is it September yet……???
« on: February 26, 2022, 10:34:45 PM »
Come on and hurry up and get here…….!  I am already having trouble sleeping thinking about those rutted up bulls and September archery hunting them. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way……lol

I don't get that excited anymore, spike bull only and low draw odds on the East side dampens my mood. I'm only thinking about it occasionally lol. Good luck and have a great hunting season 👍.

:yeah:
Those spikes sure are tasty, but yea hard to get excited for us nonnative east side guys that will probably never draw a big bull tag in our lifetime.

I made the mistake of starting to watch elk101 V4 and now I’m dreaming of bugles at night. Is it September yet no, but it will be here fast!🏹

I get this way.   Nothing like a rutting bull coming after you and all you have is stick and string to stop it.  Pure adrenaline!!!

I was thinking more about August to kick off fall bear.
It's all the same smell though.👍

About 180 days away.  Get that gear tuned up and break in those boots!

not me. I enjoy the whole process of application season, to hunt planning and then the scouting leading up to elk season.

Just had my bow restrung, ordered another dozen arrows and have been spending way, way too much time with maps, images, dropping pins, circling stuff.

Can't wait to hunt MT twice this year.

That whole process gives me the buck fever.
Selected or not selected that is the question.🤔

Wow!  You must have drawn a great out of state non-resident tag!  Washington elk hunting is nothing to loose sleep over anymore.  I remember the days when it was.  Probably wont see that again in my lifetime!

I think I may be done.
