Idaho-Unit 66
« on: May 13, 2009, 10:11:40 AM »
So after getting hammered on all my draws this year...its time to go exploring. Has anyone hunted deer or elk in Unit 66 in Idaho?

If so, was it too crowded even way off the beaten path? I know there used to be some bomber bucks in there and that it has gone way downhill but sure is some nice country. I am just a little nervous about the amount of hunters...especially w/ modern deer and elk running concurrently.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

I have hunted there for fifteen years. It has slowed down the last few years for deer but the elk hunting is decent but the rifle season is crazy with people. PM me and I can answer any questions.
