Wish I could have hunted these geese but living on the east side and not knowing anyone who hunts them are almost not on the bucket list anymore.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.

These two Items will be available at auction Saturday May 20. They are for fundraising support of the Washington Brant Foundation. If you are interested DM me( Marty Hanson) or arrange phone bid with Kurt Benson of the  WBF.
  phone  1 (425) 231-6497
The  one of one Blue Goose bust is the 3rd bust made and to be sold solely at the WBF.
The  root head Brant is a large 2/3 size miniature, aproximately 12" body length with 16" oal.
These are both unique items made for the event, made of white cedar, hand tools and oil paint the traditional way.

Brant carving winners from left to right. Nicolai in first, Kilby third, and Banko second. The weather was great! We raised a bunch of money for our scholarship program and the class of birds in every category was awesome!

I believe the Number #1 brant sold for $1500 at the competition and the number 2 Sold for $1250.

We had our display at the event and the weather was perfect nice but not too hot.
