We didn't bother the elk or calf. It was just something we saw from the road. We moved on and did not approach the critters. I'm sure they will do fine. It was a great thing to see.

Very cool, nice to see the calves are hitting the ground. 
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.
