I sent him a message but he just got off. I figured I would check with others. I was up there calling for bear and did not see any yots.

I really don't try for coyotes up there, too many people, it's thick and there just aren't a whole lot of them. But I have called in a few yotes up there and I usually pass on them as I am calling for bears. I did call in a real red one with Bobcat a couple years ago that I wish I had shot it, but again we were looking for bears.

Well I havn't been up into Capital Forest exploring yet.  I live right at the foot of Capital Forest off Delphi.  I hear Coyotes ALL THE TIME!  But I hear them right around my house and in the fields around my house.

I will say Billythekidrock would know more about it them me.  I just passing along what I have heard and experianced.

The rabbit distress one will work, if they dogs cooperate. You may want to pick up a call or two from Bearmanric. His open reed cow calls will do triple duty for elk, bear and coyotes.

Yea, but you live right next to a huge pasture, houses and the Black River. Much better yote area then up in the timber.

If I contact him will he know what one I need? I was looking at electric calls also. BTKR said you do good work so if I get something I will look you up sence you live about 15 minutes from me.

Tell him what you want to do ( bears and other predators) and he will hook you up. Regardless of who or what you get, if you are serious about calling I would look at getting a closed reed and an open reed.

As for electronic, FoxPro and Minaska offer the best, but they are spendy. Cheaper electronic calls work, but you may not be able to change sounds.
