Cell cam recommendation for security?

We want to set up a cell cam or two for our property. Primarily for security with good cellular service. After researching the various brands it seems that all have plusses and minuses. Your experiences and recommendations are appreciated. Questions:
- Does cost = quality? I see a range from $$60 to $200 for different manufacturers and models, although most seem to have similar features.
- Pay for service vs. free access?
- range and sensitivity adjustment? I dont want pics triggered by every movement of a blade of grass
- clarity to read license plates, faces etc. Camera will be about 50-75 ft from road.
- Battery life is important, it seems some cams eat batteries and are a pita to replace

I have only used Moultrie cell cams.  They have been great.  We run maybe 10 of them and never had one fail.  Gets a bit expensive with the yearly subscription for all of them, so not sure if other brands are less expensive.

So I just put a solar powered cellular wireless security cam at my cabin and you must use a model that’s cell only and uses a prepaid SIM card with a yearly $$ charge
I went with one that I can control and receive notifications on my phone

The one I got is controlled from my phone and can tilt and pan so you check your property conditions whenever you want
It has good motion detection and an audible alarm if you want to turn it on
The brand is Ebit cam it needs , good sun , 4g cell service and was 80 bucks plus yearly subscription of 120 bucks

I have a couple TACTACAM gen 2's and gen 3's.  I've been happy with them. About $120 for the camera. $20 for SD card. $25-50 for a rechargable lithium battery (Or 12 AA batteries that last a couple months). You can also buy a tether cord, LIPO motorcycle battery, and ammo can, and plug in a supplemental batter that will last 6+ months per charge. 
After the initial cost of about $200 to get a cam set up.  I pay about $10 per month for the unlimited photo plan(per camera). Cell runs on AT&T or Verizon network, whichever gets stronger signal. 
For an additional $10 per month, you can upgrade service (applies to all cameras on your account)to allow you to request HD photos sent to your phone, video sent to your phone, and you can remotely trigger on-demand photos/video.  These cameras have adjustable sensitivity.  Also you can set them to only be active at certain times of day.  So if you get a lot of false shadow photos during the middle of the day, you can set it to go inactive during that part of the day.

I really enjoy my two tactacams for animal pictures.   They just came out with their defend cameras and I hope to pick one up soon for security reasons.

I think TACTACAM's cheap option is $5 per month per camera and includes 250 photos per month.
