Joking aside, there are some good spring bear hunts in BC. My father and I went with https://www.wolverinerangeoutfitters.com last year and had a great time. My dad got a nice boar and I had the opportunity to miss a wolf. Lots of driving and not a lot of hiking if that's what you're into.
