I know this isn't for everyone, but I joined the local Washington Waterfowl Association. It has helped me stay connected to the field and I made some new friends, learned of new techniques and I get to trap shoot before each meeting with them all.

Went for a drive in the mountains this afternoon , saw one ruff, heard two blues whooping it up. Hardly any snow in the Skagit Valley area.

Unfortunately there are many of today’s hunters believe you are a liberal Karen if you talk about the importance of habitat these days. Don’t let that stop you because hopefully they won’t take it for granted like I did back in my youth.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.
