I did some looking too, and cant find anything that ties to Roy or the Dr discussed in the "article" However, I totally understand the thinking. :tup: Hunting, trapping, and fishing to me are far more than harvesting animals or landing fish. Especially hunting. I haven't killed a big game animal since 2004. I only have time to really focus on Elk. I have let a lot of legal and dang nice legal bulls walk, because they weren't what I was looking for. But at the same time, the interactions and the time in the woods during the rut are so much more than putting an animal on the ground. Nuisance trapping beaver is a year round side gig for me. It gives me a lot of time out and about in the sticks. I get to see some really cool areas up close and personal. Good for the soul and just so much to see and learn... and then to be able to share knowledge and experiences..... all gravy! |
