Sounds like ravens are becoming a major problem for the prairie pothole region eating waterfowl eggs like never before in the past 10 years and getting worse according to Delta.

Seagulls are  right there with em, only they grab the hatchlings as soon as they hit the water. Ravens are also the major predator on chukar eggs.

A couple of ravens picked off the whole brood of 10 chicks from one of my laying hens last year.  The wife saw them do it.  I'd have shot them in the face.
