Extra large Washington Black Bear Skull/Euro
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:33:10 PM »
This bear was shot in the Cowiche unit during a coyote hunt. The hunter was shooting .243 FMJ. He shot it once in the head and he dropped in his tracks. He scored 20 10/16.

Super fish gloss. It seals the skull and keeps the dust from getting into the porous bone and darkening it.

I'm assuming that he saw it and shot it. He didn't say anything about it charging him. :chuckle:

Wow...how did I miss that. I thought it said .243. I must be getting dyslexic.

Big bear but the score don't matter if it was shot illegally.

I think we need to turn up the heat.   I would like to look at the whole in the skull and see if it is infact a .22.  I also think we will have some backtracking on this one.  It is B.S. !

OR it was a .243 and I made a typo. Mello out! If I thought for a second that it was taken illegally I would have turned him in myself. I'm in too good of standing with my local fish and wildlife to screw with illegal activity.

I use a .243 for coyotes and since the 2, 3, and 4 are next to each other on the keyboard, I see how it very easily could be a typo.

Alright I will lax.  Bad typo to make but I can see it happen.  I was hoping you were smarter than that.  I cannot believe  no one else picked up on that.

I also use .243 for yotes. And also know elkstuffer personally and take all of my business to him. As well as some friends and family. You can take his word to the bank.  :twocents:
