My neighbor and I braved the nasty weather we had here on Monday and headed out to Liberty Lake.  After getting to the spot, within 15 minutes my buddy gets a hit on top.  A while later he hooks up but the rear treble hooks pull out of the lure.    After fishing the pads for a while, we start to move along the shore using the trolling motor.  An hour or so later, I hook up and land a decent 2 lb largemouth.  Next fish to be landed is a little smallmouth and a 1 1/2 lb largemouth by my buddy.  A couple hours later back at the pads, I land a nice crappie.  Last fish of the day was another dink smallmouth.  So total fish for me was 3, all caught on the same lure; a white mini-chatterbait.  I love these baits.  I've caught 5 different species on these.  If you don't have some in your tacklebox, get some!  They work.  Anyway, as miserable as the weather was, it was a hell of a lot better than being at work.  Enjoy the pics.
