I'll do that.  Thanks for the heads up.  Do those eyeguards fire you guys up as much as they do for me.  Man, a muley with those would be awesome.  This thing just kicks butt.  I got to see the ATL pic of him and wish I had access to it.  UNBLELIEVBLE.  He comes as close to D-mans heavyweights as I have seen.

BTW, thanks Doug, that's a ripper, makes one wonder how many world class critters there are, that people don't care about scoring. Thanks again. Later

Those are some world class blacktail holy sh#$. You say that guy has 5 others? Is he hunting his own property or a friends, maybe with some kind of food plot on it? Thanks for the pics, I'm seeing more and more huge blacktail on this site all the time, keep them coming.

When I get more time maybe Bucklucky, Black Ghost and I will get a Blacktail thread going.  No food plots, the property he killed most on was limited access. Its all grown up now, though the genetics are still there, the country isn't very condusive to hunting, not even blacktails.

Oregon has some fantastic blacktail, I like to look at Boyd Iverson's collection. Any idea what County, or general area it was taken Bone? I know Lincoln County hold's a lot of record book harvested animals.

I know where it was killed D-man, I'll take a gander at a map, I'm not familiar enough with Oregon.  Those are some more dandy blacktails.  they look like they came form where I got my monster sheds.  Same light coloring.  Take a look at those Michelle.

Here you go ridge runner. The 170 was 22'' wide, pretty unusual for a Wa blacktail. The other pic is the 158 buck again, I think the eyeguards are 6'', lots of little hangers down there too. Enjoy
