Swag, Swag, Swag.....

I shot at 3 dogs, one after you missed, one I killed and one "runner" that I shot under.

That one dog was interesting.  Two we busted walking into the stand.  Somewhere the third showed up.  Later the one dog went towards the other, it layed down on it side for 10 seconds, and then they got up like nothing happened.  Never seen that before.

I'm surprised how well some of those pics come out.  Some of those photos are about half a mile away.

My hunting buddies ditched me today so I went by myself. The second call of the day I called in 5 yotes. First 3 came to my right, I dumped #1, tried to get  a shot at the one leaving not able to, looked to my right again, two more showed up, dumped # 2. Found my howler started the hurt yote distress, one came in from 200 yds on a rope woofing and jumping to about 30 yds. He stopped about 30 yds, scope fogged up, not able to make the shot, winded me headed out stopped at 150, still fogged up, stopped 160 yds, missed. :bash:  Third call of the day called in 3 to my right up hill, tried to coax them closer not able to, started barking at me, turned to my right , leaned back to make the shot off my, knee,(157 yds) number 3 for the day, should have been # 4. >:( Sorry third yote pic was taken with the cell phone, batteries died in the camera.

We didn’t ditch you. We were in the next canyon over and every time you squawked on that call of yours we let a couple of coyotes out of the pen and scared them towards you. We figured sooner or later you’d get lucky and hit a couple. It was close, we were running out of coyotes to release.  :hunt2:

I'm going to be going out a couple times this week and through the end of the month to thin out some dogs. I was plussed in on Gutpile's team last year, but this year it looks like it's full. If anyone would like another 6-10 dogs added to their team by the close, PM me. According to the rules, I'll need to be added before tomorrow morning when the sniping begins for them to count.
