Opening day in Montana, daughter scores 1st deer.

Well I think I have a new hunter on my hands
. She made 3 stalks with me and her mother, and they all ended with tagged deer. The pic of the whitetail was the first deer she took a shot at, and missed.
. He ran to her uncle and he got it. Then her and her mother snuck up on a buck and it about ran them over when it got up to run from other hunters. Her mother got that deer. She was really getting excited to shoot her own deer. We spotted a herd of mulies bedded across a draw. After a half hour stalk we were within about 100 yards. The buck was standing broad side, and she made a good shot. I had more fun hunting with her than when I get a buck. Anyway enjoy the photos.

Gosh I really hate when kids shoot bigger deer than I do
Congrats. She will remember that deer and hunting with her family the rest of her life.
