Black Wolf
« on: November 05, 2009, 09:19:36 AM »
A friend of mine who runs Royal Tine Guide School over in Montana, Cody, took a really nice black wolf.  I asked him to post some photos, over here so hopefully you guys will get to see a nice wolf taken over there.

He took a photo, I think in the same area two years ago and saw 5 black pups and both adults were black.  I think this is one of those pups.  He said it was a young male.  As soon as I hear back from him I'll hopefully get some photos posted.

Got my wolf today, a young male.  We were out hunting elk and saw some birds fly up and then a couple wolves run off a kill.  Got the slow one.    ;D

the kill:

, I hear the song "Another one bites the dust" in my head when i look at this..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
