tree stand going up
« on: December 26, 2009, 08:50:01 PM »
well the pack out behind the house has gotten pretty aggressive (tried to draw my dog out the other day, and he's a big dog) and i cant really be shooting the 223 inside city limits so I'm setting up a tree stand in the funnel out back where the yote's come into the field and I'm going to call um in and whack these yotes with my bow. wish me luck theres a bunch hanging around. old team yar will be getting some big ole west side bow coyote points here pretty soon  8)

tree stand is set. took about 2 hours clearing blackberry bushes and limbs but its going to pay off. theres more yotes back there than i thought and they only come in one way. about 30 yards from my stand.

I'm looking forward to getting after them. sick of them harassing my dog. going to let it sit for a couple days, probably get in there Tuesday afternoon.

buf everytime I call behind the house I have to make sure that I let everyone know, so they will keep the dogs in the house. If not I would always call them in. Don't need to be educating the local yotes that everytime I call there are going to be a GSP and GWP that is going to chase them (and they will!)
