Sure, I'd be upset if my $400 product didn't work, but did you at least contact FoxPro and give them the opportunity to make it right?

It could have been damaged after it left the factory... or it could be a simple fix. Things happen and pretty much anything can break at any time. FoxPro has a great rep... give them a chance before you publicly slam them.
Also, I wouldn't count on any electronic device to make or break my hunt (this is why I also take an extra knife, flashlight, batteries, etc... and often, a backup rifle)... carry mouth calls (I even carry back up mouth calls)... just in case. I have a Spitfire on the way that was delayed because of high demand... no sweat. I'm sure that I will be happy with it. If not, I know that FoxPro will make it right.
