Western Washington Predator Hunting Association

Well, that is the new name of the predator hunting club we are starting.  Officially will be known as WWPHA.  So far, looking at the upper teens for membership but we are new, still developing the idea, and forming.  To all of you that showed the interest and are part of this new adventure, thanks.  Looking forward to meeting each of you and getting out with you.  Let the fun begin.

western only??????? What about the guys on the Eastside? Just kiddin way to go the more organized the better chance we have for our sport to continue.
"One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted..If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job." Lemme know if someone starts up and East side group!  One of us can be the "bloods" the other can be the "crypts", but instead of shooting eachother.....we can shoot coyotes!  :chuckle:

You know, I had thought of making this state wide but need to get a grip on the west side.  We have a great group starting and I am really looking forward to this happening.  That being said, if you "Eastsiders" want to be kept up to speed on how we are doing, send me a PM and I will add you to the E-Mail Mailer, and just add Eastsider to your listing. But, what does that make you, bloods or the crypts?

OK, here is the latest....  We are well on our way.  I have the domain and started our web site.  It is under construction and will be up and running soon.  We now are getting close to 30 confirmed / possible members.  (If I have missed any responses, PLEASE send it again as I am sure I have missed some as I am getting quite a few...daily)  The membership mailer is ready and the membership list is up to date and a new copy will be E-Mailed to members later this week ( have a few more to possibly add if they get back top me).  Our first scheduled meeting willl be the first weekend in March in the Puyallup / Bonney Lake / Sumner area.  If more of you are interested, in getting involved with what is a great group, PM me so I can respond and get you set up.  I will send you my E-Mail (the one I am using until the web site is released) so you can send me your info.  This IS going to be COOL ! ! ! ! !  I can forsee this becoming a huge thing in WASHINGTON.  Oh yes, we also already have our first sponsor for the web site.... and it isn't even posted yet ! ! !

So, If interested... PM me and I will respond....

Sounds like a great idea. If you need any technical help I might offer some assistance. You could have hosted it on this server for free as a sub domain. But since you're committed might as well go with it and liberty is always a good thing too. Look forward to what the mission statement is and if you guys will get together and hunt once in a while.

Ray, I can use all the help I can get.  We are over 30+ strong and growing.  I think it will really take off once I release the web site and it gets a little publicity.  Wish me the best as I am learning (a LOT) as I am going..  I really hope this takes off...it will be FUN ! !
