Hey I forget to post my pic of bull I got last sept 19th 2007. I came home from work around 4ishpm my wife and my daugther was walking down our ranch. I always carry my bow no matter what for deer hunting. I havent got any deer after sept 8 until the day of sept 19 I all sudden saw a BULL walking toward to cow and he was bugling at us trying to go around cow and start to push cows away from our pasture and I draw a bow at 45 yds standing right next to my wife and arrow hit in little high lung. SHOULD HAVE USE 40 not 45yd then Bull ran off.
So we went back to house and waited for a hour later. we tracked blood trail for three hrs no luck so I went home get better helmet light and scout for another 4 hrs then long night working thur many neighborhood's ranch. FINALLY found bull laying down on someone's ranch feild I walked toward to this bull about 20 feet, Bull was still ALIVE so I draw arrow again and shot 2nd in liver. My wife decide to call Game warden to get authorize for me to enter their ranch to remove Elk off and it worked out great so we went home and get trailer and pull those bull on it and drove off home around 1 30am in morning whee. it was hardest thing I have ever hunting. I peel hide off all morning then off to work. I was pretty much exhusted but I almost gave up on scouting blood trail almost 7 hours looking for this bull. I thank lord for listen to our prayer!
Last week I just pick up mounted bull. it was beauitful job!

Sweet, awesome elk. That wall is perfect for a big mount like that. The only thing that would look better is an Alaskan moose.
