Well can't hunt for elk for another couple of years. But what I can do is a few different broadheads on wildhogs to see which penetrates the best and which one is most durable for big game like elk. My two picks are the G5 Striker and the Shuttle T-Loc. Can't wait.

my wife used an elliptical for a while and we still have it. She got bad shin splints from running on the pavement or our treadmill. The eliptical helps a lot. Not sure why you think it's useless...that thing will kick your ass if you let it or try hard enough. I use it occasionally.

WDFW-SUX and I did an 8 mile round tripper today...it was a great walk.

If I get on the elliptical I  do legs only and have to crank that thing up and go forever. It is a great machine for Women!!!!!!!!!If you want a workout then hop your butt on a versa climber and then come talk with me.Good luck.

I took a fastball to the shin last night catching for PathfinderJR.  EXACTLY to the spot where the shin splints have been bothering me the most :bash: :bash: :bash: :'(

Well, to be fair... it wasn't his fault.  I was being lazy and sitting on a 5 gallon bucket while he pitched.  It was a good pitch, I missed it.

Today is the beginning of my fifth week.  I'm down 13 lbs at this point.  I'm feeling great and still haven't touched a soda in this time.  I too have been using an elliptical trainer at home, but hey it works for me at this point until I get into better shape.

The 5 gallon bucket makes more sense.  I didn't see your old Infantry knees being able to squat like a catcher for longer than about .5 seconds :chuckle:
