Its so easy to print a gun on someone in the summer time don't even worry about it! AS FOR THE FANNY PACK??? When i see some old ass red neck with one i can't see the gun, but the cabelas shirt gives it away! Full size guns are always hard to conceal.... especially during the summer time... If some one is loooking they will find it!  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

you'll need a small friend with a fanny pack to help you carry that Witness.

Just wear a light weight button up shirt over the tank top/ tee shirt. I'm in the same position (lean build, not a real big guy) and a cover garment combined with a quality IWB holster has worked well for me. I carry a Commander size 1911, and most of the time my wife can't tell I have it on. The people who are most likely to notice if your gun "prints" are gun folks anyways, so it really won't matter.

I carry a full size 1911 in a fanny pack made to carry. No one can tell I have a gun.

As long as you put your fanny pack on the hip or backside, it's not GAY. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ON THE FRONT.

HEY I wear my fanny pack on the front dont be calling me names like that   lets see my fanny pack and my purse are both plenty spacious enough to carry my blackhawk ;) I almost always have one or the other with me ;) I do not really want one of those tiny little pocket guns...although might look cute in a garter holster under my skirts in summer :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Here you go...you'd never know this guy had a pistol in that thing - it's perfect concealment plus you'll look great!

Opt for a new concealed carry piece...if you're worried enough about your safety to pack a firearm, whats another few hundred bucks?

The Ruger LCP will dissapear in just about everything but a thong...and for summertime carry along with modern bullet technology it's about as effective as a 9mm during winter carry--you don't have to worry about penetrating extra layers like carhartt jackets, thick sweatshirts, multiple under-layers, etc.

A small, 5-shot revolver in .38spec. will dissappear very easily with an IWB holster being covered by nothing more than a t-shirt. With nothing more than the thin grip rising above your belt line it'll be very hard to spot.

Also look into supertuck holsters...I'm 5'11 and 190lbs and it makes it very easy to conceal a Sig 229 (by no means a thin gun) with most attire.

And I'm sorry, but a fanny pack is not a good concealed carry holster IMHO.
Sure, it's not obvious you're packing a pistol to the typical NW WA Liberal...but any firearms enthusiast (or even a criminal) will see it and know with 90% certaintly you're packing. The pistol itself may be out of sight, but there aren't many people out there...nor many reasons to wear a fanny pack these days.
I left it better than I found it...did you?

Cargo shorts side pocket with a pocket holster, compact .380 or .38 snub.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I only wear shorts and tanks in the summer too. I use a Bianci leather clip style inside the pants holster but I buy a left handed and wear it SOB style. The middle back gives it a place to sink in a bit. I carry a sp101 in it. I have never had anyone notice it. Even my full size 1911's.
