I think last year the biggest one was shot out of the Walmart parking lot.   The cemetery is usually pretty good too.  You should be able to see at least one 30 inch buck.

Doesn't sound like much of a "Friend" to me! It's a damned draw tag so why isn't he helping a buddy out and giving him a little help. :bash:

If I were you I'd find some new friends!!

FYI: Great tag and should be a fun hunt. As was already stated, don't get too trigger happy early if you are lookin' for something like the buck your so-called friend got.

DREW A MISSION MUZZLELOADER TAG NOV, 25 THRU NOV ,30TH ANY ADVICE ON WERE TO START I KNOW ABOUT ALL YOU CAN DO THIS TIME OF YEAR IS LEARN THE COUNTRY AND ROADS BUT ANY ADVICE ON A GOOD PLACE TO BE IN THE UNIT THAT TIME OF YEAR.

If you talk as loud as you type, you'll never get one.   :chuckle:

Actually, I know a guy that hunted up in there last year, as well.  About the same level of "friendship" as the guy you know, though.  The one thing that I do know is that he didn't really know the unit before his hunt but spent a ton of time scouting in it before season.  With a little work, he was able to find bucks every day.  He didn't shoot a 180 but got something like a nice 140 or 150 class buck (I know, I know, a 150 is just a dink - unless you actually see one and then they are pretty big.)

I wish I could give you a little better advice on the unit, but the good news is that you should be able to scout around and find some bucks on your own.  Good luck!

If there is not much snow, hunt west of Highway 97.  If there is lots of snow, hunt between Mission Creek Road and Highway 97.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

That is a great tag, I would concentrate my area depending on snow that is. Between the Sand creek drainage and in the area of Camas Meadows. But I did hear there were a few good ones taken up by the Beehive area last  year.

There are some nice honey holes that hold some nice bucks even away from Wenatchee. Learn the entire unit
