If I remember correctly there was a chunk of land donated to the WDFW that has a resident living on it. The deal was something like the resident got to live there until it was no longer possible for them to, but the state got the land and in an effort to have a "trophy area" that did not get a ton of pressure they give out like six tags for each weapon. The land is public but not open to anyone without a tag (and I believe the indians) . Seems there was a great deal of info on here last year about it as a few guys got tags. I think the land is located between Oroville and Chesaw. I will be a few more knowledgeable folks will stop by the post and give you exactly what you are looking for.

A Smith & Wesson Beats Four Aces.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?

What we have here is...Washington Department of NO Fish and WATCHABLE Wildlife.

There is a peice of public land just before you get in to town. I think its called knob hill... I have hunted it..Not a huge amount of land but holds deer. It is surrounded by cattle land... its about 1/4 mile walk to hit the woods. most of the area is private.. good luck
