I'll buy them skinned and air dried or will buy just the guard hair.

Judging by his moniker and location, I would say Native American art. I have seen some realy nice stuff done with porky quills. Cut and dye them and use for bead work.

Wow some curious people, Yes we are Native American and have a craft supply store in Cherokee,NC. I travel up that way to see my brother in Alaska 2-3 times a year and am looking for some contacts for furs and general animal parts. Our website is
www.powwowoutfittersgwy.com
the other website is some people that we met a few years back that liked our name and used it for them selves. I'm over it now. Anyway I'm looking for 50-100 skinned and air dried porky's with quills and hair. I'm also looking for 10-20 pounds of porcupine guard hair and will buy any over 6 inches long.
On the hides I pay 10.00-18.00 each depending on size and the hair I pay 15.00-25.00 per ounce plus shipping on both.
So if you see any quill pigs and want to make some money please let me know.
Here is a pic of a belt buckle my wife made for me a few years back out of porky quills.
Knife sheath I made last year and a pipe that's in the SmithSonian museum that we did.

Is it legal for us in Washington to sell animal parts?
