Don't be fooled by the 239 being a compact, it shoots like a big gun, easy to hang onto and seems to have less felt recoil than my XD(m). If you aren't sure I would rent a few guns.

 :)Hmmm, 50 years of shooting must have made me dumb!! The guy I sold them to did not like them either. He must be dumb also!! The guy I sold them to sold them and bought an XD 45, he loves it. and O'course the thousands of 1911 shooters in competition and combat are all idiots too. If you like Sigs, use em, but drop your elitist know it all bull crap. I tried them, dont like them, thats all.
