On The Band Wagon
« on: February 18, 2011, 05:13:01 PM »
I must say the first time I seen the posts of BBB I was hooked and I hadn't even tasted it b4. I wanted to make it asap. Well today is the day I started curing 18 1/2lbs of pork shoulder  :IBCOOL:. Paid more money for the pork than I'm used to  :'( but I got tired waiting for the prices to go down. No pics of rubbing my pork  :yike: didn't think you all would mine  :chuckle:. Ten or so day's from now there will be pics and I'll be smokin bacon  :IBCOOL:
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

Well thanks for not showing the rubbing pics.  You will be happy, 18lbs is alot to start with, but it will go fast!  Most thick cut bacon will go for $4 a package so you will be way ahead of the curve I'm sure.

Just playing the waiting game. It's all most like watching grass grow or paint dry  :'(  :)
