And if they are taken care of properly.  There is nothing that tastes worse than a buck that has been riding around in the back of a truck all day with the hide on in 70 degree weather.   :puke:

Yeah no kidding. I really don't get why people do that. That is probably the number one reason a lot of people don't like the taste of wild game.

I've never tasted a bad deer.I do all the processing my self and i won't add any other meat to it.If i wanted it to taste like pork or beef .I would just eat pork or beef.

Alfalfa-fed mule deer are pretty darn tasty.

Its hard to beat a clover/corn feed Pennsylvania whitetail. I have shot and ate quite a few of those PA deer. I guess they are still my favorite, but the Whitetail and Muleys in Oregon/Washington eat about the same to me!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
