what you guys catching them on, we went to flowing on sat. and got skunked. usually catch them on my flyrod with a woolly bugger or on the spinning rod with a mepps or rooster tail but want to learn the bass lures. any suggestions for lures for roesiger for this time of year.

All of those and flowing. Senkos will catch fish just about anywhere, and they're easy to fish too!

Some nice smallies in Lake Stevens. Look around the site for "Skillet". He fishes the lake and I think has some posts regarding bass. You can also PM him and I'm sure he'll pass on some tips. I've met him on the lake and been out shooting with him once..nice guy.

went out to roesiger for a few hours after running down to three rivers marine to get some bass gear and plain got skunked. we were throwing senkos and some jig thing that three rivers sold us on. probably try out cassidy or goodwin next.

Hammered a few out of flowing lake about this time last year, while taking my boat out for a test run. Finesse em! Plastic worms jigged of the bottom around the docks or by the lilly pads up by the north boat ramp. Or better yet, just give me a call and this ex bass fisherman will show you how its done.  ;) :chuckle:

Bass should be coming off the spawn right now, you might want to dead stick those senkos some

Coming off the spawn? :dunno:

If you fish cassidy beef your gear up a little there is a ton of structure in there. We've done good on jig and trailers there.

With the spring we have had I would think they are just starting to think about spawing.  Water has been too cold for them to do their thing.....  :twocents:  x2 on the senkos and jigs. Good luck!
