Fox trot!

I read the post fox in Wa?, figured what the heck i know were some hang out. These boogers are fast and never stand still, centering them in a trail cam pic may be harder than i thought. It doesnt help that the camera gets messed with when these guys are around. Over 40 pics of the rascals none of them are centered but here are a few. Re-hung, hopefully this next soak will produce better pics!

Cool! They sure are movers. Might try a few drops of Pheasant Scent in front of the cam. They might pause to sniff it and give the cam a still shot.

Try some bait. Whatever you've got- some meat scraps, bones, fish, etc. Heck I suppose even some type of fruit might work, like apples. I know coyotes eat them, fox probably would too.

yeah they're fast! Had one in my pasture again the other night. 25 yards away from my deck. Put the light on it and it flipped around and was gone.

dig a hole out in front of your cam and stuff some doggy treats down in there try to make it as deep as possible a clam gun might do the trick if it aint to rocky

I've been really thinking about using some bait, but i really don't want to push them out of the area due to other predators, mainly coyotes. Im pretty sure yotes would push them out of the area, but i could be wrong.
