anyone else here see the huge mulie taken opening day in the teanaway west fork road by the slash burn 29''  spread huge rack  once in awhile you may see them but not often do you see them in the back of a truck  LUCKY GUY i wonder if bought lottery tickets too you just never know  counting all points i think it was 5x6 the weight at owens  just meat  was  175 lbs  i heard the shot that did him in.

Sounds like a great buck. . . .I assume you mean the dressed weight was 175 lbs?

no i am working on getting the pics from a friend  the one i mentioned was in teanaway i beleive that trophy was elsewhere because he mentions whitetail

I know Casey. I posted his buck under 2011 bucks section. That wasn't killed on the west fork Teanaway road.

Great to see bucks like that still coming out of the Teanaway. Big, thick unit, there are a lot of bigguns in there.

well no it was not  harvested on the road as the story goes from him is they were camped up the westfork and he was driving his quad up the road towards the end he see's this great buck  stopped and stalked it on foot  BANG  .the forest service crew also knew of this buck and told my father about it  anyway congrats to casey once again  a nice buck. you dont often see this type of buck in the back of a pick-up anymore. the other problem is they live right down in the bottoms where its hard to get them.
