Shaving cream.
Apply and rub in. Cleans the glass and won't fog.

Works great on eye glasses, and bathroom mirrors, and binoculars.

Cheap also.

Pretty funny stuff! But keeping the glass clean helps. Ever notice how easily the inside of your car window fogs up when dirty? Here's another tip. On a cold, sunny morning, you're gonna fog the eye-piece glass just by breathing out your nose. If you forgot to bring a soft cloth, just turn the eye-piece glass to face the sun for 90 seconds. It will drive the moisture right off.

It was on here a few years ago someone posted that their lenses were fogging up, and another member said that Cat Crap works great. I remember I had the same problem with my lenses fogging up, but there was no way in hell I was stupid enough to put cat crap on them  :bdid:   :chuckle:  but once i found out what it really was I have used it ever since with good results

Years ago I cut up a car drying chamois ...cut it  into smaller squares. I tied a lanyard onto alot of these and now carry one attached to my binocular lanyard. They work really well at quickly clearing fog or rain drops from the binocs or scope...

Cat Crap.  Rub it all over the lenses.  It won't fog up at all...

Now that you are done Laughing.  There is a product called Cat Crap that comes in a little red flip top tub kind of a blue waxy substance.  You'll find it in the Ski section at REI.  It's desiged for ski goggles but it will keep the water from condensing in small droplets on binos and scopes or eye glasses if you wear them.  I can't say that it is reccomended for coated optics.  but it works.  You just have to make absolutely sure you don't get grit in it or on your finger before applying it.  I got a piece of grit on my finger then used it on my glasses once.  scratched the hell out of it before I realized it.

I saw a decent selection of anti fog stuff at wholesale sports last night in the optics section. Be interesting to hear how it works
