help shrinking pictures to post

can anyone tell me in laymans terms how to shink my pictures in my file to post. it says the picture is to big. sorry just a dumb carpenter

Open them in a program like micosoft picture manager, then resize them down to like 20-30%. You just have to find a program that you can resize with, then save them and post away :tup:

I copy and save things I post into a separate file so as not to mess with my originals. Also makes finding the exact image I want to post... Then I open them in advance of my post, re-size to way smaller and then add to a post...
