Turkey Slayer 2011 Fall Season
« on: November 18, 2011, 07:10:57 PM »
Well fall season is here and as most of you know I get into this about as much as spring because I get to help so many first time hunter and so many first time turkey hunter. Well the first person  that I am taking is Scott Hogan from Trijicon Game Chasers. We are going to be filming over at my uncles that have 250+ birds as of today. I will be leaving in the morning to get set up. I will keep every one updated on the hunt. I am hoping to get 2 to 3 kills on film on Sunday. Talk with every on Sundat night

Good luck every one and be safe

Slayer, Good luck with the hunt and the filming.  Sounds like the birds are back!   :IBCOOL:

Oh yeah ....... don't shut the camcorder off when the tom gets within 15 yards, like I did during the filming of our Spring Youth Hunt!   :bash:   Have fun..............

Here are a few pics. I will do a rite up later this week. Long story short film crew didn't make it over to hunt with me yet because they didn't fill a tag in Montana and now they are hunting with OVGS. I did pass on 23 bearded hens Wow I was thinking but the was over 300 bird there. I ended up getting a real nice tom that mesured 10inches and a 1 1/8 spurs.

Great looking Fall Gobbler!  Looks like a great hunt with all the snow.  Sounds like your flock is making a comeback??
