Who to ask for at Lucky Shot?
« on: January 19, 2012, 08:25:04 PM »
Taking my son to Lucky Shot on Saturday get fitted for his first bow and have him shoot a few different kinds.  Anyone in particular I should ask for?

Probably between the Craze and the Razors Edge.  Guy on the phone had a few other suggestions but, we have a $350, maybe just a bit more budget.

Not buying a Matthews I hope, think Bowtech :chuckle:

In all seriousness, I think anyone there will do good for you. I really liked Lonnie, but he, supposedly, retired. I keep hoping that he comes back.

Went yesterday and worked with Ted.  Great experience.  He's getting the Razors Edge.  Going to start a thread in a bit with pictures

Honestly, he continued it with me.  I had not hunted for almost 20 years.  He would wake up and watch hunting shows early in the morning before anyone was awake and begged and begged to do it.

We have three Razors Edges hanging on our bow rack right now (all from Lucky Shot). They compliment my 2005 Bowtech Old Glory and my Bowtech Destroyer 350.

Did you check out the antlers in the rafters down there? I have some hanging in there. A couple of them on cedar burls and the other on a rafter to the far back right of the store kind of near the stove.

Good choice on a great starter bow.

SOOOOOO many racks in there.  I was really impressed with the Razors Edge.  I was thinking it may be toy-like but it's not the case at all.  I like it WAY better than my AR-34.  Not sure I would buy one for myself but, it sure is nice.

The Razor Edge is a great starter bow plus it can grow with him for a couple years.
