Or the wolf talk????   :chuckle: :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I've already written letters if someone wants to go for me.  It would be nice if someone would represent Washington for Wildlife there. Since the Kittitas Valley Field and Stream will be there protesting road closures.  They are against any and all road closures and apparantly do not care about the elk and deer.  I have had run ins with them before.   :bash:

If anyone represents WFW, you need to get your message approved by the Board of Directors. It is okay to read your own message and represent yourself though, then mention that you are a member of WFW.

If someone has a well thought out  message that would/could be considered, let's meet on it. If nobody else can go, then I could do it. I don't know the issues or concerns but I can certainly read a well written letter...

Do ya want some cheese with that whine? It takes all of 3 minutes to sign up to speak. Of course you have to get out of bed and be there around 8:00 when they start sign up   :dunno:

Al  if you scroll down I wrote two letters to the WDFW.  NWWABOWHUNTER has already read them off at the last meeting but the more we put out the message the more likely they will be to take action on it.

I have emailed the Colockum Wildlife area manager (who is new) Pete Lopushinsky.  He said that they have already bought and purchased 10 new gates that they plan on putting up in the Colockum.  They plan on putting them on roads that are already closed to access but need to be physically closed.  Of course the Kittitas Valley Field and Stream are very much against this happening.  They are also against closing roads in the wintering grounds.  They are against any and all road closures.

I think that our stance on the Colockum elk herd and the deer herd should be doing what is needed to help the animals out.  This means some road closures.  So the WDFW is leaning heavilly on the opinion of the Kittitas Valley Field and Stream for their opinions which is why there havn't been any road closures.  So I think that we have a chance to give the WDFW the back bone and support they need to do what is right by the elk and deer in the area.  By giving the WDFW a wildlife group (WFW) to support them and their actions.  I think this is one thing they have been kind of waiting on.

colockum, I'd check your facts before you start telling people that Pete is new.

Colockum, according to the front page of the 2006 Colockum Wildlife area management plan it was prepared by Wildlife area manager Pete Lopushinsky, and Leray Stream, Regional Wildlife program manager!  Neither the position, nor the occupant of that position seem "new".  You're Welcome :-)

My point being you have apparently done a lot of research and written some very interesting papers, however when you make statements about new managers and new positions that don't seem correct, it gives people pause about the rest of your assertions.

And I've been here quite some time I just don't have an impressive post total, Thanks!

That last post was much better. The first one was a little rude. Thank you for clearing something I over looked. I'm not perfect nor do I claim to be.
