is not the watershed closed to hunting? or is it a permit only? just curiuos why and how do tribes  get  thru to hunt there ? why cant it be open , the sultan basin is  and thats a watershed
Yup closed to hunting for the white man, they also get to log in there.  Liberal seattle gave into them a few years ago, I have an uncle that works in the shed.

Niether of those bulls are the one I got a picture of. The pic I got says its a 398 bull and the new record for washington muzzleloader. Its a 7 by 8 but does not have dark horns like a bull from that area would presumably have. ( it says it was killed in enumclaw)

I saw it at the show, and it was quite impressive that such a stag could be found so close to Seattle.

Talked to the guy who shot it at spotco when he came on to get the gun he won at the sportsman show. Did't see a pic but he said it scored 396 and shot it somewhere above enumclaw in 454. The guy that shot the bull with the wire also won a gun and I talked to him. His was taken modern firearm and scored 369.

I know for sure a Indian shot a 390 bull in the watershead that is closed to public hunting. My buddie and a local taxidermist put their hands on it. he shot it the last few weeks of sept with a rifle. He should put it in the head and horns comp he is the MAN...... (sarcasm):bash:

I'm not sure who you spoke with but the guy that tagged the wire bull has not won anything, he didn't even go to the show.

It's to bad he wasn't able to get it to the show.  I told him he would have taken the cake.
